I just opened the App and yep it requires you to update it before you can use it again. In the update it doesn't say the new version has ads, that is cheeky. I'm not sure regarding the ads, as a paying user I think it makes it look a little cheap. If I was a shareholder I'd be happy that a new revenue stream has been added.
But in the new version they have messed up the currency on the 'top-up' credit screen. For me (UK based) - on the right side of screen the currency is in £ and in the middle currency it's showing in $ (AUD I guess?) so which currency is relevant? If they are going to make changes, they should at least test them properly prior to launching them.
I also had multiple problems in the past 2 weeks trying to make 'zipt out' calls when on 4G.... and the app doesn't like it when you get a txt message when you're on a call, it just killed my call
At the moment the app is still not up to standard and the way the business is being run, constantly changing direction I don't have much confidence in the management.
Unless the app dramatically improves with the next update I can't see a future for it on my screen.
