I have no target walk away price for AVB. I will continue to downsize AVB until they are around the same investment as other stocks unless the other stocks come up to the same level of investment.
Once even, the investment strategies that apply to my other stocks will also apply to AVB. For way too long when my indicators say sell AVB, they have been over ridden by a personal belief that AVB will "come good".
It's a classic investment case where feelings have got in the way of sound reasoning.
I've gone through my mind where I used the hypothetical of if I had invested elsewhere how much money I would have now. I'm guessing that nearly all AVB holders have had similar thoughts.
Now with regards to AVB specifically,
3 years ago AVB announced a known resource size of 1 million tonnes of copper equivalent. Remember the big headlines? After firming up the JORC, the value dropped to 80o,000 tonnes approx. That figure hasn't changed in 3 years.
Surely one can see why there isn't any excitement with AVB when there is zero increase in the resource in 3 whole years.
Elephant country? Maybe next year? Or does AVB need to keep money for PB instead?
There is too much uncertainty for AVB to get any interest in the short term and AVB has a history of turning short term into long term.

I guess there you have it in one, with cash, solvency, accessible product and cashed up backers, I see it entirely differently.
Perhaps too much uncertainty for some, it is supposed to be that way with hidden value. I shall now take sip of a nice Irish in the Palace Hotel, considering myself similar in my ambition s to that of our major holders.
Cheers
Phil.
