Online media company Ansearch Ltd (ASX code: ANH) today launched
'adsvalue', its "much anticipated search advertising product".
Directors said, "Adsvalue is a contextual search advertising
platform enabling advertisers to purchase keyword targeted display, rich
media and text advertising which is displayed across both the network of
Ansearch-owned search engines and directories, and on the premium
content-based websites represented by its subsidiary, soush.
"Adsvalue will complement Ansearch's existing relationship with
Google. The product will enable soush to attract new websites in
Australia, New Zealand and other international markets such as the USA
and the UK, for the distribution of contextual advertising."
Online advertising expenditure in Australia for the three months
ended June 30 totalled $226 million, of which search advertising
comprised 38 per cent, ahead of classifieds and general advertising.
Overall online advertising expenditure was up 55.9 per cent on
the same period in 2005.
