Hi folks, I wanted to wish all the Mothers a happy Mothers Day. Yay for the Mothers!

I will always remember this little story about my Mum.

At their 50th wedding anniversary cellebrations, Mum was asked by the Bishop about the wonder of such a long Husband/wife relationship. In jest he suggested that when things can get a bit tough, did Mum maybe ever contemplate divorce?

Mum (Irish pedigree) loves a good joke; She looked him in the eye and said. "Well actually My Lord, no I didn't, but there were numerous times when I contemplated Murder!"

I will always remember my Mother with great respect. She had 9 kids, was a School Teacher, and wonderful mentor to all of her offspring.

She tought us to be tollerant of others, but never to take shite from anyone. In all situations above everything else, there is one consoling truth; "No matter what happens in any situation whether you are involved or not; No-one can deprive you of your own thoughts".

So to the Honkers, baggers, yarpers and 5 minute experts, I never wanted to hurt your feelings. Somehow I found myself defending people I do not even know because I don't believe they are deserving of the harsh criticism being published abut them on this forum.
Such is life I guess?
