Don't forget that Syntonic's revenue is multi-sided.
So when the user downloads a free app the revenue comes in:
a) Syntonic receives $1 - $2 commission form the content provider. AND
b) Syntonic receives about 20% share of the revenue paid by the Telcos for new additional data used by the consumer and charged to the content providers.
c) Also Syntonic receives up to 10% transaction revenue paid by content providers if consumers buy anything.
What I like most about this model is that Syntonic will get a base revenue share from the Telco revenue regardless of what the consumer does as long as they are consuming data to browse, watch a video, listen to music, sends pics and video via wechat, whatsapp etc.
