In the UK, a group of investors got fed up waiting for their regulator to take action, so they took the HFT traders to the UK Supreme Court themselves, using an Aussie invention to prove the manipulation.
There were a lot of rumours around HC back when NOR was 2 cents to 2.5 cents, as the sp had the bejesus manipulated out of it, in my personal opinion.
The rumour was then that they eventually took the brakes off - and made a proverbial fortune in the process ans it ran hard all the way to 15 cents plus.
Did they then rinse and repeat? With the recent rise being them taking the brakes off again?
I think this is more a case of real news coming - given the number of telcos is allegedly talking to.
