I also found the Persian people extremely warm generous and hospitable- one thing that the article doesn't say expressly is the fact that no one in the Western World seemed to appreciate the oppressive nature of the ruling government in Iran-and that the government of Iran is not a true representation of the views and sentiment of people in Iran.
Sadly enough people in Iran have no choice but to tolerate the regime for the fear of prosecution.
