Hmm, so many pegmatites, such a big area..not much information.
There are only a few reports on the area. In the announcement they refer to 'various NSW Geological Survey Bulletins since 1982 and have generally been considered a geological oddity and not evaluated as a potential source for lithium'
From the (Lishmund, 1982) report summary:
Full report from 1982 can be found here.
http://digsopen.minerals.nsw.gov.au/?rin=R00052008
It should be noted that the report is on NON-METALLIC AND
TIN DEPOSITSOF THE BROKEN HILL DISTRICT.
As some of you are aware PLP also has some info on rock sampling in the area. Nothing in the way of spodumene.
Anyone else have any information?
