I have read a number of reviews of the C by GE. Not having to buy a hub appears to be a good idea but then you are not able to integrate them with other connected-home systems which makes them a bit limited. I am not sure why they went down this path maybe it is to make them cheaper for consumers, as the price of a hub can be a deterrent ?
