50 people axed... ouch! Still that leaves only as many people as I would have expected should have been there in the first place. All this slash and burn should do wonders for morale.

What do they mean by "have now satisfied ourselves that the facility can operate at design nameplate"? Does it or doesn't it? Why don't they just give a clear yes or no? Do they mean they think it *can* but mostly it doesn't? This reads like a politicians weasel words

At least these cuts will make that remaining cash last a bit longer
