I agree, i've noticed about most of my parents wealthy friend's on the whole, tend to be more mindful of their spending habits and are value shoppers so long as the quality etc is the same. Yes there are plenty of wealthy individuals who don't really care but quite a lot only go to the position where they are because they do try and save money where possible. I remember reading about a study in which wealthier people were more likely to buy bulk amounts of toilet paper as opposed to others ( i know it's one example) who just look at the total price.
