Hi abuman,
The report would not be viewed favourably by a lot of people because it has closed off Explorer to some extent in that immediate area -so only deeper drilling by Barrick - which will be some time off -or extensions along strike by SMC will now fire up the Explorer target. This stuff is exceptionally high grade when you hit it -and it can produce a Pajingo at several hundred metres depth -so anything could happen if the vein picks up again to the south east/south. Now there are so many other targets to be drilled -again what is beneath those high grade surface rock chip samples at Finn,Grand Central etc etc.
Barrick are about to fly an aeromagnetic survey -that will hopefully pick up magnetic anomalies that will further the understanding of the area and controls on mineralisation -and hence more drill targets.
It is early days yet -and best we can hope for is more high grade shoots -plus a strong gold price. This stock would have been $2 in the 80's/90's gold booms. I spoke with Barrick -they are fairly bullish about prospects. They are chasing the 'big one' here. In 12-18 months we will know a lot more mate.
