Peeps, got to be patient with the ASX. They were obligated to query because the volume was so high and out of nowhere. Clearly from a counterparty in one of the negotiations IMO - prob the telecoms svc prov - but difficult to identify. They zeroed in on the AFR article as it was pretty accurate and the company's explanation was (a) that it was old and (b) they worked it out themselves. In other words, "dunno".
The ASX can do very little else fortunately or unfortunately depending on your view.
Anyway, after being obligated to query, the ASX accepted that the company didn't really know anything and we're back on track. Part of life as a listed entity.
