Every man and his dog are moving into this space (graphite, lithium, cobalt etc)
The mining industry in general is shaky at the moment to say the very least.
Don't kid yourselves, things out there are beginning to get extremely competitive.
Sometimes the 'nice' guys don't always win (even if they have a good product)
Just something to bear in mind
