Mavis is a 2,624 hectare site in north western Ontario in Canada. The following figure shows the Mavis project geology:
Source: Pioneer Resources
The site hosts’ 20 identified pegmatite outcroppings and is supported by lithium soil geochemistry results. Individual outcrops vary in strike length from 11 metres to more than 240 metres and range in thickness up to 12 metres. The outcropping occurrences all fall along a 4.8 kilometre target zone.
Previous drilling programmes have identified the presence of lithium, with the better of these intersections being seven metres graded at 1.83% lithium from four metres, six metres graded at 2.53% lithium from six metres and 26.25 metres graded at 1.55% lithium from 152 metres. These are significant finds and certainly provide us with comfort that the site may host a major lithium deposit. The project site is well serviced with infrastructure and has a mining community of some 7,000 within close proximity.
let's be patient and give some time as this is panic sell off!!!
