I have to say I sympathise with your wife. I know what you say is a good strategy if you've done your research and have confidence in the company but in practice it's psychologically so hard to buy in that much red. I knew today would be worse than yesterday at open and told myself I'd buy more, but when the time came, I was in shock at how vicious it was and couldn't act. From my brief experience of the share market, I've done so much better buying on red (you taught me that) but even so, it's still hard to pick the bottom.
