In this case a stop loss maybe would not have preserved capital as MTH ann came out prior to Friday market open, and the share price plummeted on open from 1.3 cents, so a stop loss at say 1.2 cents may not have got hit - I'm not sure how effective stop losses are in dumps. Maybe better informed posters can clarify?
