Re the PNG, I don't think so. PNG LNG is the jewel in Santos crown.
They dodged a bullet with the Isreal project though. Thats the thing with these non first world countries - you have to work out how to be successful in these quite diverse ecosystems. Lots of companies have been successful in various parts of Africa and S America, despite all sorts of sovereign issues.
Trouble with Woodside is that they have a chief engineer/technologist running the shop, rather than a business builder.
