once you use Iress (or similar live platform), you can't imagine using anything else
below is 4 screens i use as an example (but it can be 6 or 8 or 9 or less)
top left is a watchlist (allows around 6 watchlists)
top right is a market depth for a stock, which will include the 'match price' prior to opening or at market close auction
bottom left i have chosen a 'my order' screen (i have pushed out of view my actual trading for the day) which you simply click on to trade
bottom right is the 'new announcements'
but you can choose other stuff, as shown below
