The reason they say estimate of over $5 million is that they have an expectation of converting their trial clients into ongoing revenue, hence the use of the word estimate.

I have a different explanation for the use of 'estimate'. In my view the amount of revenue will depend on the number of sales of beds. The estimate of over $5mill is an estimate based on the number of beds the bedding company thinks they will sell in a full year using Alexium technology. So whilst they can't give a bonafide 'to the cent' amount, they certainly can give a pretty accurate estimate of expected sales based on history.
