BOT is an abbreviation of Web or Internet Robot.
It refers to algorithmic or computer trading. A program is set up which buys and sells according to fixed formulae.
Evidence of this type of trading is in the following:
The market depth each day shows multiple similar bids
Many small sales less than 200.

The ASX short positions table shows 1.67% of the total capital being shorted at 18.5.16.
This has risen over the month although not dramatically.
Bobbyben has pointed out the shorting behavior in his last post.

I cannot be sure if the shorters are directly linked to the BOT as markets are very complex with
participants having a wide range of agendas.

My theory is the ASIC should look to protect minority holders and require a full bid to be made for AGI
which presents a buying opportunity. I have based my investment strategy on this theory.
