What would happen if management were to start buying s*itloads of shares??

Apart from the possibility of creating insider trading issues the sp would rapidly increase.

No they would need a shewd third party to do the buying, someone who could do it discreetly and accumulate at low prices.

This third party could buy say 70 million shares or more in just a few weeks and loan shares to shorters, and if then the shorts suddenly increased 4 fold a lower sp would likely be the outcome. A win-win for the shorters and the third party.

Just a thought. I am not aware of any third party who would do that...
