As far as I am aware hard rock to production is quicker to get off the ground. Absolutely drilling is a large cost and is one of the contributing factors of the cost difference. But end product is of higher quality (relevant or not ) if resource is proven it's simply a matter of extraction and processing where salars need to be developed for extraction. Hence NMT commencing crushing a month ago. Also there is weather to consider with salars flooding. I feel the new upcoming mines need to be at the building stage currently to reach projected targets before over supply.
