You walk into a room and search for Wifi. You see all access points but can you connect to one ? You will be surprised that Google has made silent but albeit giant strides to further their protocols and have now introduced instant apps. See

Devices cannot be spammed. They can be flooded with requests and brought down but again a proper protocol will avoid that as the rendering of the request happens on the hardware level as opposed to software like XPE has come up with.
Google's worry has never been their hardware tech. It has been their number one revenue maker and now soon to be number 2 revenue maker. Its quite
coincidental that the Jury found in favour of Google on Google Vs oracle today. Thats one behemoth of a problem they were dealing with. Don't disregard the fact that Google has restructured to protect themselves and pursue projects that are independent of each other.
If you think sharemarket is about unexpected then you are the ones at the bottom of the ladder. Precisely the time when the broker's or the top folks are ready to offload.

If you think that a joint marketing agreement is going to bring any revenue to XPED then sadly the next 3-4 quarterlies are going to be a very depressing period for you. Look at G8C , I would say that G8C is currently better positioned then XPE and BRN. They have one of these with a lot of telecom providers.
They are only porting these tech to someone's chip does not imply that they will receive revenue.

What is the benefit for TELINK with this partnership immediately ?
You will be surprised to learn that the CEO of TELINK Dr Sheng originally worked for Qualcomm so no wonder Intel put money into his startup which is a very common practice on both sides of the fence.
However if you think that any seminconductor company will waste their time by implementing someone else's tech without immediate monetary advantage then sadly you will be disappointed.
BRN's announcement was as fluff about a joint agreement and I am happy that it was sold down. Except XPE wasn't which means you will probably end up seeing a 1PG graph soon.

Do you even wonder why BRN is at 100 Million mcap without any progress and at its low ? VS other companies who have signed so many papers with a lot of big names ?
