Ratty is only young with a hell of a lot to learn, it is good to blood young people in boardrooms as the old boys club are very set in their ways.
Yes! they would not have got a gig in CBA, but the way I look at it most ASX companies need to have a few people young or old that do things a bit differently as long as they have someone on the board to keep them from making any grave errors.
I think they sold a few to prove a point not so long ago to get their way, which they will need to curve things like that down as it's equal to a dummy spit.
The one thing they need to prove to all of us now is, can they add value to the company and how long will it take, so then and only then will we be able to judge them on their own merits while in their new role, that could make or break them as a director for this or any future company
