    Yep, wrong, no hub required, unless you want an
    off grid type set up.... Do some research into the tech when we were still ryg, ONE recent ill-informed article suggested we need a hub and now every new poster seems to keep bringing it up as xpe's Achilles heal, when it's not even true!
