Metgasco is reviewing its corporate strategy, in light of current market and trading conditions in the oil and gas sector.
The cashed up company, which sold out of the New South Wales gas space last year, had previously indicated it would remain in the oil and gas space, but its decision to call a trading halt this morning suggests the company may have had second thoughts.
Sundance Energy Australia has also called a halt pending an announcement relating to a share placement.
