    They'll turn x number of your shares into 1.
    eg, you might get 1 share for every ten you currently hold. The MC of the company will be the same of course. So, you will have the same amount of the pie, just less pieces.
    There's no compensation because nothing's lost. Hopefully price goes up if market likes consolidation. dyor
