if you lost money on 88e, you must have bought at the 7 cent range. I do agree that it's a risky investment, however, that is my risk profile and that I'm comfortable with the punt i made and I'm prepared to loose if need be. People should not be investing unless they are prepared to lose as always invest what you can afford to loose. People are not silly so thank you for your warning, however, not needed.
if you are long term you should be fine.
