Wait a sec - I'm just doing wise-man-stuff in my cave....
ok. put on my hat... ok... ready..
One thing that is odd is that given the cross-pollination of the 2 companies it would normally have necessitated an independent review of the merger deal in the face of extremely biased GMM board.
They bypassed this. They probably don't want too much digging around back there in the closet.
No idea how I missed seeing this clause when I read the offer. It looks to me that they could simply invoke it without too much upset once it passed majority - which is probably not much more than what management and mates are sitting on.
Instos will all go for it too. Its done and the market seems to agree without hesitation.
In the GMM thread I now call it GXY's Frankenstein. Its a big lumbering beast but its remote controlled.
Yeah. I feel its a done deal. Already shaken on in the back-rooms.
Numbers on SDV profits way, way too strong.
No chance they'd allow a disappointing "no" vote to tank the momentum.
Timing perfect too.
Get this out of the way whilst SDV is the DFS is that we will be looking at.
Obvious James Bay will have a DFS out soon but I bet it will be timed to be released after the merge is complete (for obvious reasons - its best to make this look medium term for the moment - don't want GMM holders getting itchy for Plan B).
Lucky us.
Merger News, SDV DFS, Successful Merger, First Off-take completion, James Bay DFS, First Shipment, ASX 200?, HKSE?, Next Off-take agreeement at higher price, Commencement of SDV Build.
All coming up this year.
The game and the calendar is looking totally rigged in our favour.
