Don't talk to me about bubbles @eshmun...I was working on Wall St during the collapse of Continental Illinois in 1984 (you were probably in diapers then), on Wall St Black Monday, 1987, working literally next door to NYSE, at 30 Broad, for JPM Guaranty Trust, the S&L Crisis of the late 80's, the bankruptcy of Drexel Burnham Lambert in 1991, again working across the street, at 40 Wall for MHT Bank, I lived and traded thru the mania of the late 90's and the epic crash. Ditto the Great Recession. I worked for many of those who went under, Merrill (MER), Lehman (LEH). I don't need lessons about manias, panics and crashes from you (itself the title of a well known book - Kindelberger, 6th Edn).
I also happen to be a serious amateur historian of Financial Markets so please don't lecture me about bubble
And PLEASE don't tell me about Tulips, or John Gay and Lousiania - bankrupting France, or South Sea, or UK Railroad bubble of 1837, or the Panic of 1907, I know a bubble when I see one, unlike Alan Greenspan who never met a bubble he didn't like.
Take a break and go back to first principles.
There are volumes on this, I have read them all, and I don't need a lecture. I gave lectures on this stuff at NYU's Stern School of Business.
I shouldn't have to tell you this, but go back and (re) read and then tell the masses, but don't tell me:
