    The other day I posed the question...

    Could some of those 'advanced discussions' that (TSI India/TSN) are having be with the corporate venture arm divisions of Big Major Banks?

    The article below highlights that Private Banks are keen in playing venture capitalists to start ups and matured growth companies. Wouldn't TSN/TSI India fit that bill?

    1. If this was something that the companies had their eye on and were considering, what could be potentially advantageous with regards to this new development is that a few of the company's major Indian bank clients have been working with TSI India for almost a decade now. That would certainly be a big tick for prospective Venture Capitalist Divisions of these major Indian banks.

    2. As we know TSI India have all these services or business lines (refer to list below) ready for the market. Wouldn't it be a win win proposition for any of these banks to partner with an established player such as TSI India with years of experience and know how to expand into new and exciting business opportunities that a company such as TSI/TSN can fully manage and operate for them on their behalf?

    * Card Products (pre-paid card instruments).
    * E-surveillance asset business lines outside of ATM surveillance.
    * ATM Power Management and asset business lines outside of ATM Power Management.
    * POS Terminals.
    * Smartphone Technology (e and m-commerce / remittances).
    * Big data driven MIS Systems for Analytics.
    * Card Issuance.
    * Card Management.
    * Payment Services.

    Borrowed from the Seek advertisement....

    "With such a strong client base in place, the Company is now focussed on greater expansion through further innovation and creating multiple revenue streams by introducing relevant products and services to the ever expanding B2C client base."

    I can't get past the keywords "multiple" and "introducing". And what's that ever expanding client base now? Many many clients. Remember they're serving a collective customer database of over half a billion people now. I don't brush over such numbers lightly.

    3. The leverage that a potential proposition such as this could provide the two companies would be phenomenal imo.

    4. As per Seek advertisement, TSN appears to have their eye not only on business domestically but also internationally. How are TSN planning to 'leverage' off of their business relationships and contacts nurtured, cultivated and solidified over the last 10 years? Something like this would certainly propel the businesses to extraordinary heights.

    5. If these corporate venture arm divisions of Big Major Banks were in fact looking in, I wonder what they'd be thinking of the company's innovative technology platform/s after witnessing that major 11,000 ATM milestone achievement? Remember, TSI India are now working with over 30 banks in India to become one of the major significant players operating in this space.

    This is another exciting piece that I'm keeping a very close eye on.

    Tony
