Mmmm, something is not gelling here IMHO.
On the
3/6/16,
@Bejack84 when referring to a telephone conversation with Ian Duffell said,
"
They are in final stages off testing. Parallel testing is happening between Australia and China - fine detailed features like the facial recognition technology is very complicated and they want it working perfectly before release". Many questioned whether this phonecall actually took place. I have no idea whether it did or didn't occur.
Then we have
@hanssy7 telling us that he had a telephone conversation with Ian today (
7 June 2016) whereby he apparently says that they were going to film the ROAMe last weekend (ie. 5-6 June).
So are we to glean from this that the parallel testing between China and Australia of the "
very complicated" facial recognition technology was finalised in 2 days, does that seem feasible to everyone on here? Similarly, the
final stages of general testing appears to have been completed in 2 days. Again, does this seem feasible to those reading this post? There's also other inconsistent information such as Ian stating that the device won't be on the shelves for another few months. Did anyone get that impression from reading bejack's post after he spoke to Ian? I didn't.
I'll probably get shouted down by holders and I accept that. I am sorry to say that I got caught up in the hype and should have done more research before buying this stock. However, I was lucky enough to sell out at 10c with a modest profit, so it's not all bad. I accept that everyone is entitled to their opinion. I only ask for the same treatment in return.
The crux of my argument is that something is just not right with this whole scenario guys and girls. After my last post, many were quick to jump in to say that those who have sold were just nervous nellies or got scared by the downramping. Sorry to disappoint, but that is not the reason I sold. I have been investing for at least 15 years and I have seen this scenario quite a few times before. It's just ringing alarm bells as far as I am concerned. A large number of shares have been sold in the last 3-4 sessions. Why? Why would anyone sell when they are so close to releasing the device? Why indeed. I recently looked back through IOT's twitter account. They had photo shots on Twitter back in late March 2016 which purport to show the device hovering. Are we to believe that in the 3 months since that photo of the device hovering was taken, they haven't had one opportunity to film the device flying? I'm sorry I just don't buy that.
Anyway, I've said my piece and won't go on about it. I sincerely hope for the sake of holders this thing does fly and do the things that have been promised. All I suggest is that you look at what I have said and closely research the company and draw your own conclusions.
All the best
