Essential Responsibilities: The Lead Electromagnetics Engineer, Global Laser Enrichment will work in close partnership with Laser engineers, technologists from other disciplines and the Global Laser Enrichment staff and contribute to commercializing GLE's unique and industry-transforming technology.
In addition, you will:
Play a key role in the introduction of novel laser-based isotopic separation technology into the uranium enrichment market using state-of-the-art tools, facilities, and technology
Plan assigned projects, including schedule and cost; lead project execution, and report progress against plan
Use existing physics models, identify improvement opportunities, and implement upgrades
Design and build complex electro-optical and other systems exceeding world class performance standards
Develop new models as required to support performance improvements
Collaborate within a technically diverse team and contribute towards the design of the GLE commercial-scale facility and rigorous, quantitative assessments of its performance
Obtain and maintain up-to-date expertise in the physics and engineering fields essential to assigned portions of the GLE technology
