FYI: Myer have a short term plan to move upmarket again after they realised that their low-cost downmarket approach wasn't working.
How do I know this? I have a number of friends that are distributors for some major apparel brands and CML is in the process of negotiating with them to open "concept stores" in all of their outlets.
This would put Myer back on par with David Jones and should also gain credibility for the retail outlets... lets just hope.
Call me mad but I've found the safest stock on the, page-10
