The Directors will no doubt have insurance to cover liability for any wrongdoing on their part. If a class action was to proceed, then it would be (another) lawyers picnic. If a class action was to succeed then the legal house leading the class action would get a motza in commission straight off the top of the settlement amount.
Don't be under any misconception, class action lawyers are in it only for the fees they can extract (fair enough). The actual plight of the suffering shareholder is inconsequential.
