IMO the BOD have feathered their own nests and preserved their jobs. As far as they are concerned we are just collateral damage and have a flexible scale on what they consider ethical IMO. I glad some of the holders are happy but I am sure they are not sitting on 90%+ losses. All expected a deal would at least put some money in the coffers of MNC so they could continue being a going concern. This is still in doubt unless we are all reading it wrong.
