In business I have found thinking in absolute terms is not profitable
Delays are part of doing business and my constant experience personally, both as a client and with my private companies ability to deliver services based on intent and assurance vs reality
Unlike when I was a young man I dont get phased by it anymore, I just keep following up and I make a decision at every stage whether to take a different course of action or wait
The big differential for me with age and trading experience is expectation and patience, and managing them better, I was much worse at this as a young man. In this instance I would simply follow-up and ask for clarification of the delay, is my assessment of the response genuine? Do I want to continue waiting? or do I choose to exercise my ability to trade out and look for opportunities elsewhere?
