Ravishankaray, I was delighted to read of your interaction with Albury's Bhutanese community. Amongst others, it matches mine with the Iranian Muslim community in Melbourne.
I gather you're aware that despite attempts to block a mosque in Bendigo that the High Court of Australia has just dismissed moves to prevent construction of that mosque:

It seems to me that the reasons for that High Court decision are dead simple:
1. All Australians are meant to enjoy the freedoms Australia is able to deliver - we are NOT supposed to treat people deferentially according to their gender, wealth, religion, political affiliation etc.
2. Australia's VALUES include respect for the choice of religion people make.
3. The overwhelming majority of Australian Muslims are 100% ridgy-didge Australians.
As for anything posted by Hanrahan on this forum, I'll stick with the judgement of the High Court, thankyou!
