Hopefully not commenting to soon as i have only read this. Very much agree with you that the poor sentiment is usually prior to the vote and then certainty prevails after and either way.
The same for our elections and the sharemarket. Often we see indices drop prior but life goes on after and its no longer a topic of uncertainty
