The exemption was granted 3rd May so I assume the 6 months kicked off then. My analogy maybe way off the mark, I don't know. But yesterdays delay was in relation to the Data Interception and Retention so I figure I must be close to being right. They may very well comply a month from now, who knows, but they have made a tough decision to hold on release until every box is ticked. Sure it's disappointing but if that is the reason I can understand why. And no I don't think it will be another 6 months from now. We are all jumping to conclusions here anyway, the company will update us shortly I have no doubt.
