Oldie but a goodie, just to ease the pain;
Two stock holders were sitting having a steak for lunch one day and talking the usual, when one guy suddenly dropped his knife from the table and it stuck him in the foot.
"Ouch! that must have hurt" the other guy said, "why didn't you shift your foot out of the way"?
With tears in his eyes his friend replied "I thought it was going to turn around and come back up again"....
