My sons, in Melbourne get along with them very well and have a lot of respect for them, but the point is I am not denigrating individuals, and not the "culture" as you stated incorrectly, but the ISLAM ideology, warts and all.
As far as your happy/mutual interaction, IMO, a feel good thing but total BS, when it all boils down.
I bet they would not be happy if you asked why they follow a murderer, etc, and all the other negatives about mohammad.
Isn't alcohol against Islamic teaching and if so, they are not true muslims ?
Islam is what has to be addressed, by our populace and politicians especially, and by muslims themselves, otherwise they are just a tool for the spread of more ratbag imams and more lone wolf attacks.
