re: injectable form of relenza dank It is unlikely that "whole-aluminium salt adjuvant" will be related to IV Relenza. It is more likely to be related to GSK spooling up their ability to manufacture a huge number of vaccine does to a pandemic bird flu strain should it occur.

Adjuvants are typically used to obtain a greater immune response to vaccinations. Use of adjuvant will allow more immunisations to be made because they require less of the flu vaccine material in each dose to get an adequate immune system response.
