The ATO rulings regarding claiming expenses tend to change regularly & you would
need to contact an accountant or try calling the ATO directly to get the most up to date
info.
Have a read of the site to determine if you fall into the category of an investor or
a share trader , if you are running your trading as a business - are you registered for
GST etc. I can't really give you any other advise but try the link below
