Nice spot MY, cup & handle in play.
I have seen nicer handles, but the strong volume backing the handle is certainly a plus.
Re: upward trend start, that will almost always happen if you're going to see a smooth curved Cup...so no real significance in that observation, just the geometry of how patterns form. If it starts from the lowest point in a cup, the cup will look like a sharper V shape, not a very smooth C&H formation imo...
