Eddie Mcguire = yep, stupid, stupid.

PC rules mate. As in RULES like rules as in a cruel sovereign overlord, not rules, as those adopted in petty banter,

PC is not close to many a heart, but there it is - bow to the God of Political Correctness or else every door to every  room in every house of representatives (thanks for your mindless input Malcolm),  door to any opposition party office that houses a vagina (thanks Tanya) , door in every political & sociology  department,  door to every oily nook in the twittersphere, and of course universally the coffee lounges of the latte sippers of inner city 'aping metrosexuals' will open up & be SERIOUSLY onto you.

    The OUTRAGE!!

('Aping' can we say that here? We are apes, aren't we?)  Not in the fluffy world of metroxesualdom?

    "No?"

    "Really?" [ Sad face]

But the bigger aspect perhaps - in the fresh contexts of Orlando, Tommy Mair, & Michael Steven Stanford & Eddy Mcguire is how the narratives are so freely 'usurped', and lassoed, wrangled and corralled for anyone's particular political fettish or (err... i.t.o. the metaphor) beef.

So Michael Stanford was a really nice guy! (The Guardian) whereas Tommy Mair had dangerous political affiliations (The Guardian) In the drowning text above of the dialogue - McGuire is one of a group, where the nastiest sentiment is Frawley, not Mcguire. But Mcguire is pilloried as he is the known national name.

Thank heaven Tweety Bird came out, as Loony Toons would have to can the cartoon due to the perpetual gendered violence implicit therein.   Spare us our Mickey Mouse?

We know everyone does it; every political party does it (Both sides) but it is an intrigue to see it taking place.

Perspective is a wretched, wretched spectacle.

Yet we (all) fall for it, over & over again ...
