June 24 (Reuters) - Downer EDI Ltd (DOW) :
- Downer awarded WA public transport authority contracts (DOW)
- Downer bombardier joint venture had been awarded contracts by western Australia's Public Transport Authority (pta).
- Contracts for the supply of an additional 10 x 3 car b series units and for maintenance services valued at approximately $512 million.
- Says the maintenance contract will run until 2026 and replace existing option rights available to the PTA
