There are over 100 verses that teach universal salivation. The bible has issues with contradictions. The teachings about a permanent hell are either mistranslations / misinterpretations or the bible is loaded with contradictions - take your pick.
As has been pointed out by me and others permanent punishment is not consistent with a God of love and justice - such a punishment is consistent with those who wish to use religion to spread fear and conformity to their theologies. That's where the big bucks lie.
