NICKEL explorer St George Mining has again highlighted the propectivity of its Mt Alexander project by confirming the discovery of nickel and copper mineralisation at the Strickland prospect.

Assays received show nickel-copper occurs at shallow (50m) depth at the prospect, with broad zones of weak-to-moderate mineralisation including narrower, higher grade intervals of up to 2.5% nickel.
The assays come from the first ever drilling at Stricklands.
The discovery is near the Cathedrals prospect and part of the mineralised ultramafics in the Cathedrals Belt that extend intermittently for 2km (and possibly more than 3km.).
Further drilling is planned next week.
